Decorative Arched Insert
Designed around the time of the Great Exhibition in
1851
The Decorative Arched insert pre-dates the
Classical Arched Insert by some 30 years, having been designed
around the time of the Great Exhibition in 1851. The fireplace
incorporates elements of Greek and Roman detailing, a reflection of
Britain's growing sense of grandeur and Empire.
The fire is available in a choice of matt
black, highlight polished and fully polished finishes. Gas fire
options are also available.
A cast relief baffle is fitted at the rear of
the fire. It has a fan-shaped motif within an outer linked chain
design.
When burning solid fuels, the baffle can be
closed when not in use. If a gas fire is fitted, regulations
require the baffle to be permanently secured in the open
position.
